Red Blinking Light! (Turn off?)

I received my new HRV 3 weeks ago, and I can swear that red blinking light was off all these days, however, I took it to the car washing and I guess they made something inside and/or the key to activate this red light. The seller told me that is the 'alarm' light... but I insist that light was off.. I mean I'm not that crazy to not notice it for 3 weeks....

I know this light only works when the car is 'locked', so i took the pic below from the outsite...

Is there a way to turn off this light ?

Why would u want it off tho?

It's to let scumbags know that your car has an alarm.

But you can try manually locking your car and not arming the alarm but again why would u want that?!

First, I want to understand from technical perspective, even if I want to keep it on or off. The point is that light/alert was on by the car wash guys somehow and I want to learn how to enable/disable.

LOL you really think it was off this whole time and the carwash guys somehow enabled it?!?!?!

Search the forum and you are NOT the first person who missed the light being on this whole time...
