My rear bumper was damaged by snow removal equipment. I want to trade-in my hr-v for a ridgeline soon, and want to replace the bumper before doing so. Does anyone know if this can be done without taking it to a body shop?
You can do it on your own (plenty of clips and screws)... but then you'd either have to buy an already painted bumper or have the bumper painted and possibly paint matched afterwards.
Yes, unless you have one of the 2020 models should be black... I removed my rear bumper, I recall all you need is an allen wrench and something like a screwdriver to pop out a few tabs underneath. You will also have to pull out the rubber lining around the bottom of the rear hatch. Should be easy, no need for a body shop
