The EPA website listed 2 different CVT transmissions on the HR-V and it appears that one of them will the the paddle shifters (maybe in the EX-L trim or as an option). In any case, it seems likely some variation of the HR-V will have them.

I'm going for a manual myself, so I haven't been keeping tabs on the CVT very much.
Maybe Europe will get the automatic 9gear box they are going to introduce on the 160 bhp diesel CRV. I would be interested if it wasn't for the price, it's an option of around 2,4k.
I've always driven manual so far but traffic conditions these days would make driving with an automatic gearbox more comfortable.
Paddle shifters would be great. Much more fun than just a 9 gearbox automatic. Crossing my fingers for them. I think there is a good chance NA will get them.

I have them on my EX LNav and they work well.
I have paddle shift in my EX.
7 speed fun!!
