I wonder if the is a week long event with Press and Honda reps coming an going all week long. Some tweets last week clearly said next week and yet we have pictures this week. That would be another reason for a embargo. Gives everyone a chance to see the car before they can start releasing articles.
That could be. One of these pictures seem to be from them driving to the Thompson Hotel and the other seems to be at the hotel. Or, testers might be picking up the cars at the hotel and test driving them and making stops along the way?
Can't wait to see the articles!
I noticed that too. It might be that the sun is striking it from the front and the side we see is in shadow?.....especially since the blue also looks darker.

I also think that instagram picture might have some sort of filter on it that's messing with the colors a bit.
I'm happy to see the green and that they're offering several cars to test drive, I would assume they have a variety of trims and FWD vs. AWD for this event. I also can't imagine they wouldn't be telling the press corps the prices as well being that price factors so much into a reviewers thoughts on if a car is a good value or not.
I agree....I think there is some kind of filtering going on there.
I don't think there are any LX, at least depending on the photos showing the fronts. Those all have fog lights, which the LX does not get. (Doesn't rule out the non-front shots are LX. I hope so for my sake!) I did notice some do not have roof rails, so those are probably EX.
I can't see whether any are AWD or FWD from the pictures, but yes that would be great if they did both.
I agree we will see prices in the articles. It's time.
Could be. But I wouldn't be surprised if Honda revealed pricing before the articles even come out.

Agree. I would think Honda would want to officially announce stuff before any kind of press reviews.

I agree with both of you. Read my thread about Fit pricing. The info may already be available but no has found it or reported it.
I really don't think they will wait that long. No reason to now that production has started.

Trying to figure out what the "10 days" from two days ago means. Sounds like that would take it to February 28th. Would the embargo end then and we would see articles? That would fit in with what Torque news said about the first week in March

It's so hard to judge its size in pictures. The more I look at it the more it reminds me of the pontiac vibe in size. I can't wait to see this in person to get a better idea.
You probably could find the specs somewhere for the Matrix/Vibe somewhere online. Then you can compare wheelbase and total length with the HR-V.
I believe they will be very similar. That is OK with me. (Block out of your mind the last restyles of the Matrix/Vibe, they were pretty bad and I think lead to their demise)
