Hard to believe with the long wait, but we only have a couple more weeks to go until the HRV will be hitting dealerships.

What are the top 3 reasons you plan to buy the HRV?

For me, it's the following in no particular order:

1. Styling (coupe like)
2. Drivability/Maneuverability
3. Low ownership costs (depreciation, gas mileage, etc)

  • My shopping list only includes vehicles with a manual transmission
  • It is a crossover available with a manual transmission
  • It is a reliable offering from a reputable manufacturer available in medium trim level, with options, and a manual transmission

1. Utility and ride height of a crossover
2. Smaller and more car-like than a typical crossover
3. Less expensive than a typical crossover

Truthfully I like the Crosstrek a bit more. But I'm hoping that a loaded HRV will be cheaper than a loaded Crosstrek, which would make the HRV win out for me.

Pretty much the same top 3 for me! As well as the fact that Honda are always reliable cars and easy to work on if something happens.

Similar to Bicepeak:
1. Size and utility... really want a hatch, not a big SUV
2. Manual transmission
3. Features: sunroof, infotainment and phone link, backup and lanewatch cams, upscale-ish interior

Plus some Honda brand loyalty / respect.

Oops... that's 4!

lol...I had a hard time keeping it at 3 too. That's why I kind of squished a lot into #1 . :)

Utility (Magic Seats, high rider, AWD option), economy (Gas mileage and the EX model gives a lot of SUV for the price), reliability (Honda--say no more).

Of course, there's so much more: Seems like a larger car than its classification; smooth engine; fun to drive; looks....
