Honda updated their mobile site to now include the colors we'll see here in the US. It's still not working for my Android phone, but I'm sure they'll work that out soon. In the mean time www.automobiles.honda.com/mobile/hr-v/#colors works on my desktop browser when in full screen.

I posted these images in another thread, but I thought they would deserve a poll to see what people like, and what they don't. Vote on what your favorite color is or which one you'll be getting! NOTE: You can vote for more than one color.

Alabaster Sliver Metallic (Grey or Black Interior)

Crystal Black Pearl (Black Interior)

Deep Ocean Pearl (Grey Interior)

Milano Red (Black Interior)

Misty Green Pearl (Black Interior)

Modern Steel Metallic (Black Interior)

Mulberry Metallic (Black Interior)

White Orchid Pearl (Grey or Black Interior)

A few months ago I heard an interesting news story on the radio about how car companies are developing new and more interesting colors for cars. They asked the interviewee what the next "hot" color trend would be, and they said dark purples. Low and behold, the HR-V is getting a dark purple.

Here's a very similar news story talking about it....

I currently have a silver car (and it will be the last), so I wanted an actual color for my next vehicle. I had been thinking about both the blue and green. I saw them both in person on the Vezel and liked both very much. I am now leaning towards the blue only because I'd prefer the gray interior, but that could change depending on seeing both again in person.

I'm in exactly the same situation, current car is silver, I like the blue and green, not sure on interiors. I'll have to see more photos when we get them, or better yet, the cars on the lot, to make a final decision.

Early poll results are not trending this way.

Colors are up on the Australian site and they look like they are getting the Vezel's shade as "Carnelian Red". Other than that it looks like they kept the JDM names. No gray and no green down under, but Taffeta White in addition to the pearl.

I currently have silver and really do still like it. It has a look of quality.

But I have always liked white. Depends on the car, but it really seems to work with the HR-V. I even like how that band of black in the headlights contrasts nicely with white.

Even so, I am surprised that white is in the lead so far.

My wife and I believe that colours enhance, in sort of ways, the general shape and/or particular details of a car ... Dark colours kind of hide the details, which are too many (matter of taste !) in such short surfaces, as HRV's... But also one has to consider the connection with the according interior match ; which I'd also favor in the dark tone.
Thus we'd like the Green, the Mulberry and the Red, but only after looking at the actual HRV's actual colour options, according to Honda Canada' s selections ...
That's why my vote went for «I don't like any of them» ...
Hi to every one ...

It's confirmed for me that the passenger seat also goes down flat, providing 8 feet of space. I think I found my new apartment! Or at least the option to take a nap.

I'm on the Honda e-mail list and today I received a notice about The HR-V. I pasted it, and maybe it'll work

I believe I had already found this link somewhere, but I didn't get an email. Can you tell me the sender address or anything? Looks like several people did get an email, but I did not. I hope it's a sign that the car is coming to the US! Thank you!

I want the Mulberry. I had a '97 Accord that was Black Current and I loved that color. I have to say though, that Deep Ocean is sweet in person and it's a close second. I loved the way it was a blue with a teal/purple undertone depending on the angle. I saw it in loads of photos and always assumed that it was a reflection of something near the vehicle, but it's there under the lights... however under the sun could be a whole other color.
