1. Nail file and gloves.
2. Learn to live with it.
3. Remove the tape.
4. Replace the tape with aftermarket carbon effect tape, the texture helps obscure finger prints and scratches.
Both the paintwork and B pillar tape on my vehicle are covered in micro abrasions from the previous owner. Surprisingly it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I've purchased replacement tape for the b pillar, but am wondering if it's worth going through all that time and effort to do the job properly as I know it will only get covered in scratches again.
