This article was just posted at Torque News.

I like this line from the article......

"While we’re not privy to HR-V pricing until the end of February, we anticipate pricing for a well equipped HR-V to land slightly above that of a mid level trimmed 2015 Fit.($18,000+)That’s just an educated guess."

He still says "Spring", but I am excited about getting pricing at least!

I don't consider an email from a dealer as a strong confirmation, maybe just an educated guess or wishful thinking. Don't get me wrong I hope you are right, I would like to hear something a little more official. Honda usually dose not rely on dealer emails to announce dates.
I agree with you about what dealers say about when the cars will arrive. But at least we know pricing will be soon.

From the official press release from the LA Auto Show....http://www.honda.com/newsandviews/article.aspx?id=8218-en

"Speaking of efficiency, the HR-V crossover offers the kind of fun-to-drive spirit you can only get with a Honda, along with a 1.8-liter, 138-horsepower VTEC engine providing lively, direct and immediate response, whether mated to a sporty Honda CVT with "G-design shift" technology, or a slick-shifting 6-speed manual."

VTEC engine, not an Earth Dreams.

Thanks Dermochelys,
I had forgotten where I saw that. Thanks for reminding me it was in the official press release. Can't get any more certain than that.

Understood, but this is the first time we've heard a specific date from anyone who has inside knowledge. It jives with what was being said at Chicago, and now in some press leaks. Is it OFFICIAL? No, but darn close.

Keep an eye on the Hondanews.com site. When Honda/Acura announced the ILX went on sale it posted 8 press releases. Different ones for Chassis, Powertrain, Interior etc. see link - http://www.hondanews.com/acura-automobiles/channels/ilx

They might post their press releases before they allow articles be published on next weeks event.
The attendees at next weeks event will bt embargoed from releasing any information for some specified period (usually a couple of weeks). And they usually don't violate the embargo so they keep getting invited to future events. I expect Honda will release some officail annoucements dring the embargo period.
