How are those side skirts/applique chrome holding up ? From aliexpress? Its an interesting after market option for a lot less $$$ than Honda wants for their kit, but also just held on with 3m tape , right? Thinking about it!!!
Yes, from Aliexpress. 3M tape provided but I'm skeptical it will hold well therefore added PU sealant. I don't encourage just using 3M, if you insist, please at least put on 3M primer. You don't want these to fall off on highway and turn into deadly spears.0
I stopped by a local dealer on Sunday to get another look at the blue....it was on my way home, so I figured why not. They may have sold it as I did not see it. They had a modern steel one out front. Not only were they charging a $299 documentation fee, but over $800 for accessories. They included splash guards, wheel locks and a "Nitro pack". Have no idea what that is, but no wonder this dealer does not seem to be selling as many as other dealers.
You sir.. have an amazing car. Can you please post some websites where you got those acces.? Just got Mulberry HRV and want to also do aftermarket trimmings to it. Thank you in advance!
This will be a need for me. I love it on my 2002 Civic Si HB and It provides so much security when loading things in the trunk and you don't want anyone to peak at whats in side your car. Especially since it's new and we all know people will want to see what it looks like inside.
You may want to reconsider this hard tonneau cover because it's bulky, in event if you need to load your trunk with big items, this cover will take up additional place, not forgetting you'll need to bend down when searching for stuff inside.
We had owners here regretted getting this cover. I'll suggest go for soft cover or retractable cover.
Kindly note for installation of retractable cover, screws and brackets will be needed. Over here in Malaysia they've started bring in plug & play version without the use of screws, I'm still following up and will update once I have all information. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/High...er-for-Honda-VEZEL-2014-2015/32260093433.html
First accessory will be crossbars on the roof. Now that I see how the cargo cover works in this car I don't know if I will bother, with the tinted windows you pretty much cant see in the back. It's raining this week so I'll see if I want to do the splash guards. Will probably do WeatherTech mats all around when they release the back mat. Cargo tray for sure, haven't decided on WT or Honda's OEM.
I am in the same boat, I might decide to go with Weather Tech instead because they have a better warranty on their products:
What is the warranty on WeatherTech® Products?
All WeatherTech® products are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of purchase.
Exclusions to this warranty are wear through due to severe abrasive conditions, chemical contamination, such as spilled gasoline, bleach, etc. We are reasonable people and we believe in customer satisfaction. Depending on the situation, we will either replace your product at no charge or charge you a prorated amount for a replacement.
I added mud guards and the rear cargo cover at invoice. Will get weather tech mats and cargo tray when available. Factory store is in Bolingbrook IL. Decided against edge guards and door guards for now.
This is my first sunroof - is the wind deflector a good idea?

Not yet. So far so good in city driving. Even made phone call and noise was ok. Haven't tried on freeway yet. Will wait perhaps for OEM. Saw that weathertech makes them for other car models.
