Curious who all is planning to actually buy the HRV?

I have plans to buy a CUV/SUV, and this is one I am interested in looking at and test driving. If I like the HRV the best, then obviously I will plan to buy!
I am providing the pricing falls between the Fit and CRV. We have put our deposit down.
I was planning to but with all the push back from winter to late spring for release I'm going to hold off now to make sure no major issues come up like last year's fit.
When the car first was announced as the Urban I was researching cars for when the one I have now bites the dust, and so far I like everything I've heard about the HRV. I'm in no rush to buy one as I want to be sure it's a good car and I'm not going to pay a premium for it when it's first released in California. Either way I'm still going to wait for my present car to die because new car=new baby and a new car doesn't address any need for me except as a replacement for my old car.
I would expect the HRV to be just like how the CRV has paced itself for having excellent ownership costs. Probably the nearest competitor will be the Subaru Crosstrek.
Interested in purchasing either the HR-V, or the Mazda CX-3
HRV but the wait has forced me to look at the CX3!
I have already told my dealer I want the first red EX-L they get. And to order me one asap.
I'm very interested in HRV and slowly starting to like it a lot. However, I like to find out a lot about a car and all the little positives and negatives that occur. So as I gain more knowledge through the forum I will make my decision in the next few months. :)

I am seriously considering the HR-V, but the wait and the fact that they aren't offering all the options that I really want are making me reconsider. I want a car last month, not this summer. I really want that panoramic sunroof, power seats and an automatic hatch.

Waiting it out for the CX-3 for some up close and personal experience would be a great thing to do. I hate to sound like a Mazda rep with all my CX-3 mentions on this forum but one thing that's clear about it is... it seems like a great alternative to the HRV!

Except for those of us that prefer manual transmissions. I am still amazed the CX-3 is not offered with one.

Of course a manual transmission will be available for the CX-3, where did you hear that is wasn't?

I am too. I believe the CX3 will be more powerful and handle better than the HRV. To not have a manual is ridiculous on this car.

It's been in every article I have read. Much to the dismay of automotive writers.

You are correct, only the Japanese models will have the manual at this point. At least the automatic tranny we get in the states won't be a CVT.
I already bought mines. It's comfortably sitting in my garage while I wait for my plates.

FYI, I'm not from the states.

*envy*

And because of that, the CX-3 is excluded from consideration by me.
