New owner here. Does the HR-V supposed to have windshield side molding?

It is 2022 and yes front windshield. My previous cars have windshield side molding.

I have to actually check mine to be sure (later)- but i am pretty sure there is no side molding on either side of the front windshield. It maybe just the rubber along the top.

@Al Nosmas when you say previous cars, do you mean previous HR-V's or other Honda's/brands?

I just have the A-pillar metal and then the windscreen on my 2016 HR-V. I haven't seen any modern vehicles with mouldings in that area, possibly due to recent windscreens being bonded rather than held in place by rubber seals.

Thanks for replying. I've talked to my dealership and they said its normal for HR-V.

No molding or rubber strip on the sides of the front windshield.
