That looks really good. I've been waiting for someone to post pics of these on an HRV. I've been thinking of trading my wheels for these as my current wheels rub.

My sister in-law bought these wheels for her CRV recently. They're from a 2016 civic Size 17x7 with a +45 offset. I put them next to the HRV to get an idea of what it would look like with these wheels.

Hi All,

I have been using Wheel Size, and tire rack and just want to make sure that i am correct.

I have got a set of 18x8 +50 '17 Civic SI wheels that i am going to use for my Misty Green- HRV

Tire Rack says 215/50/18 is recommended size but seems a little tall for my taste. Wheels size doesn't have a preferred size of tire for that spec of wheel.

Thoughts?

215/50/18 tires have about the same diameter as the stock tires, which means the speeds will stay about the same.

Tire rack only has 4 tire options in that size so i was thinking 225/45 as there are a ton more options.

You might have better luck with 235/45/18 tires. That size is also the exact same diameter as the stock tires.
