Anyone seen any red HRV?
Milano Red/Maranello Rosso! I'm thinking a Prancing horse emblem on its flanks would add at least 20 kph to the top end!The Milano red is nice, and as some others have said, I would probably select it if I was a few decades younger. However, if they offered the Carnelian Red here, I would choose it in a heartbeat.
I've never own a car other then Red in my life (I'm 50) Red is just fine overtime. It needs a little more care. Collinite Fleet Wax is an awesome product. Takes longer to apply as you have to use it in a smaller area. I also use Aerospace 303 (Use it on my boat as well)The Milano red is nice, and as some others have said, I would probably select it if I was a few decades younger. Over thirty years ago, back from the oil fields of Iran and Venezuela to attend grad school, I bought a red 911. Embarassed that it was too "loud," I sold it within two years.I've never own a car other then Red in my life (I'm 50) Red is just fine overtime. It needs a little more care. I live one block away from the Atlantic ocean (Gloucester, MA.) & the salt air isn't kind to anything metal related. My 2009 Red VW Jetta held-up just fine.
So true. It's the best color there is. Yes...I apply the Collinite, then use the 303. It lasts about 4-5 weeks.Over thirty years ago, back from the oil fields of Iran and Venezuela to attend grad school, I bought a red 911. Embarassed that it was too "loud," I sold it within two years.
Now, well into my retirement, I realize that even for a utility vehicle, red is the only "mature" color! >
P.S. Do you use the 303 on the exterior paint, over the wax? On the plastic "bumpers and trim, etc?"
US and Canada get different standard equipment and Color choices. Here in Vancouver, BC I have not seen any Red HRV's - I have a White Orchid Pearl. I have seen the Black, Modern Steel and the Deep Ocean Pearl and a White HRV in the city but only a few HRV's on the road so far - no Misty Green or Mulberry either. I am sure I will see more as they arrive at dealerships now.
