The owners manual identifies and explains every icon on the display. Take an hour to thumb through the manual to be familiar with its content. You don’t have to read every page, but you will come across the page that shows and defines all those icons. You might learn answers to other things you’ve observed about your car.

 

Reviewed manual provided by Honda no reference to battery symbol on display screen. However an envelope symbol appeared recently, When confirmed that there was a text message on my cell phone. I determined that the symbols are cell indicators. Envelope is a text message sent to cell and the envelope is a text message sent to cell phone,.

The battery icon is probably your phone's. Turn off your phone the icon will disappear.

 

While we are on the subject - what is the small circle icon in the top center of my 2019 HR-V touchscreen?

It is easier to ask us than read

 

I just learned this by accident, but I touched the top of the touch screen (mine is a 2019 Honda HRV) near the battery and circle icon and dragged down. The circle icon says “location set by GPS” and the battery icon says “Phone’s Battery Power Level”. I hope this helps!
