Another hidden gem for the 2WD versions is the amount of space in the spare tire area! I could fit like 4 glove boxes worth of crap in there if I wanted to.

I wonder if rock chips and road debris are reduced with the plastic panels, it's kinda neat to see how hidden everything is under there (until you have to work on it or install a hitch)

I changed the oil out on the HRV today and used a tool for clips that I found in my dad's tool box. It made removing that bottom cover a lot easier and I didn't break any clips this time. It looks similar to this.

I have those style clips and the threaded ones on my engine cover. Can these replace the threaded clips? I question if the stock car came with them or if it's what the dealer replaced a few with... They're a pain in the ass

Thanks for confirming, I just ordered the kit you linked and will be throwing away the 4 screw type clips. Reading on the Honda fit forums these are used there as well, anything 10mm should work though
