You don’t own a Tesla or electric car. Cars are going to make noise. This also isn’t a Lexus with 40 lbs of sound dampening.

Is your noise like this? You can hear it in the background.

Only noticeable at low rpms under 2k and in a quiet place or with windows up and no music. It's some sort of tapping noise. It sounds like the audio you posted.

Have had this noise for more than 10k miles with no issue, also found some other Honda models that do the same noise. A lot of people don't hear it because is really soft.

I think it's normal for this engines to make some noise... I checked my oil level, spark plugs, cvt fluid level, air filter, motor mounts, all fluids with no metal shavings... and everything is fine 2020 HRV 16k miles.

Does the noise go along with your RPM's? I have an alternator going out and it's a growling/winding noise. It gets louder and softer in line with the Tachometer.

 

Yes it does. I’ll look into alternator

 

Was it the alternator? I'm having the same issue I think! Super growly and vibrations on a certain spot when accelerating, it seems excessive
