So my rear wiper has rubber falling off, no big box store catalogs have wiper info for the rear. It measures at 10", but looks to have a unique mount.

2016 HRV in the US, what's the consensus on what to replace this with? My Google skills are failing, so many sizes recommended that I wonder if it varies by country
If it's just the rubber itself and the rest of the wiper is intact, go to a Honda dealership with this part #76622-T7A-003 and get yourself the insert replacement. A lot cheaper than an entire wiper blade itself. I replaced the inserts on all 3 of my wipers and they work beautifully.

I have not tried his method yet (I normally change the entire apparatus) but have recently just purchased a set of refills online for at least 1/3 of the price of the entire blade.

Very easy to do. I have had the best luck on wipers on this and my past Hondas with the OEM insert. They have worked the best for me and the inserts come with a grhapite coating on them..

The refills were from an online seller recommended by someone on a UK Honda forum, so I'll see how they fare over the summer months. If they don't perform as well as the blades I have several complete sets of wiper blades that I can replace them with.

I plan to go back to OEM after these wear out. The service lane kid had already put them on before I had a chance to ask if they were OEM so I accepted them anyway. The clips are ugly as sin too.

Hi all,
My rear wiper blade has the rubber falling off. It's hanging off about half way. I am at a loss at whether I need a new blade or a new insert and no idea what size to buy. I have a 2020 HR-V Touring.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Dealer prices for routine items like wiper blades are usually reasonable. You only need the rubber portion.
Your local dealer parts guy might even install it for you! Ours has.

$5.87 at Bernardi

Getting a new blade is an option but you will not know how well the aftermarket blade will conform to the window shape, easier to get the refill from the dealer, you can just say to the parts person that you found it online for xx.xx and see if they will match, most times they will get close considering that on-line sales will add shipping costs.

If you get just the OEM rubber blade - don't throw away the 2 metal blades from the old one- you need to reuse those.
(They are thin blades that act as 'spines' to stiffen the rubber alone)
Not sure of the back wiper blade but the front ones on my 2021 sport now do not have the 2 metal blades like my 07 Honda Accord had....Now you just remove the old and slide in the new insert...easy peasy...

Just replaced the rear blade on our '19. Daughter says the wiper runs in reverse on dry glass?????

YES it has the metal support blades in the rubber that you need to change over. Note the position of the curvature.
